Recently the Maple Press interviewed the new vice-president Honk the Duck. Here is what he said:

TMP: How does it feel to be the new Waffle Republic Vice-president?

HTD: Being the new Vice President of the United Waffle Republic is an immense honor and responsibility.

TMP: There has been comments that you cheated in the elections. What's your response?

HTD: UH... Those are unfounded accusations! My campaign was as transparent as the water in the pond where I swim. I only used ethical strategies. *COUGH* If someone has real evidence, they should present it.

TMP: Thank you for the clarification, Honk. To whom do you dedicate your victory, to your parents? James and Mariah da Honk?

HTD: I dedicate this victory to my parents, James and Mariah from Honk, who taught me the art of being a purposeful duck.

TMP: Are you sure you won't have too much work leading Honk Enterprises LLC, especially as the vice president?

HTD: Being vice president and leading Honk Enterprises LLC is undoubtedly a monumental challenge, but I have a degree in multitasking.
